You are halfway through a Sales Cloud build and the client asks for proposals and e-signature. Rather than a Conga or DocuSign quote that stalls the phase, you refer SalesSign. We contract with and bill the client directly, you keep the configuration work, and a recurring share of the subscription comes back to you. Here is exactly what happens after you register a deal.
Tell us about the client’s org as soon as SalesSign is on the table, even before they have decided. Registration opens a 90-day protection window and puts your name on the account.
SalesSign contracts with and bills the client. You lead the build; our team joins you for up to 2 hours of implementation support, and you bill your own configuration days as normal.
The client’s first paid month starts the clock. Commission accrues from that invoice onwards, and the org counts towards your quarterly go-live bonus.
At quarter end you receive a statement of net subscription revenue and commission earned. You invoice SalesSign, and we pay in arrears.
The four steps above are the whole model. What follows is the detail a managing partner or finance lead will want before applying. It is written to match the full programme terms, not to replace them.
Register a deal the moment SalesSign is a realistic option for a client, even if they have not decided yet. Registering is free and there is no penalty if the deal never happens. Registration records the client’s Salesforce org and your consultancy, and opens a 90-day protection window during which the referral is yours, whichever route the client takes to sign up.
Where two partners register the same org, the first valid registration wins. If the partners cannot settle a dispute between themselves, SalesSign decides on the evidence available and that decision is final. If the window is about to close and the client is still deciding, send us an update and we will normally extend it.
Trials count. Every new SalesSign sign-up begins with a 14-day free trial that includes 5 signing envelopes; billing starts when the trial ends. A client you registered who is on trial is a referred client in progress — the protection window keeps running, and the referral fee starts with their first paid invoice.
A referred client is a Salesforce org you registered within the protection window that goes on to take a paid SalesSign subscription. Whether the client buys through a conversation you set up, a demo we run, or by signing up on salessign.io themselves, a valid in-date registration makes it your referral. An org already in active conversation with SalesSign before you registered it is not a referred client, and we will tell you so at registration.
Nothing accrues during the client’s 14-day free trial (nothing is paid). The fee clock starts with the first paid invoice.
Commission is a percentage of net subscription revenue: the recurring per-user plan fees the client pays SalesSign, after discounts, credits, refunds and VAT. Plans are Builder £19, Pro £29 (20 envelopes) and Max £49 (50 envelopes) per user per month. Every partner is a Registered Partner and earns 15%. If we add further partner levels later, existing partners hear first and nothing already earned changes. The share recurs for as long as the client remains a paying customer.
Envelope top-ups and pay-as-you-go envelopes (£1 each) are excluded, as are any payment-processing fees on money the client collects through SalesSign Payments. Separately, a quarterly bonus of £250 is paid when you bring 3 or more new referred orgs live in the same quarter.
Commission is paid quarterly in arrears. Shortly after quarter end you receive a statement listing each referred org, its net subscription revenue and the commission due. You invoice SalesSign Limited for that amount and we pay on standard terms. If the total due is under £100 it rolls forward to the next quarter rather than being paid. Where a client is refunded or cancels within 60 days of a payment, the commission on that payment is deducted from your next statement.
Every referred client receives up to 2 hours of SalesSign implementation support from our team during their first 12 months: connecting the org, walking the admin through user setup, and answering product questions as they come up. That support sits alongside your engagement, not instead of it. You remain the client’s Salesforce partner and bill your own configuration days directly, as you would for any other part of the build.
While your consultancy is an active partner, you get SalesSign’s Max plan for internal use at no charge. It normally costs £49 per user per month with 50 envelopes per user included. Registered Partners receive 3 seats. Use it for your own statements of work and change requests, and to build demo templates so clients see real output rather than slides.

If you registered the org and the protection window is still open, it is your referral regardless of how the client signs up. We match every new subscription against registered orgs before issuing statements.
The first valid registration wins. If the two consultancies cannot resolve it between themselves, SalesSign decides on the evidence available and that decision is final.
No. Formal Salesforce partner status is not required. We look for consultancies that implement Sales Cloud and can configure SalesSign as part of that work.
Not at present. SalesSign is Salesforce-native, so a referred client needs a Salesforce org. If a prospect is about to adopt Salesforce, register them as soon as the org exists.
Protection lasts 90 days from registration. If the client is still deciding as the window closes, send us an update and we will normally extend it. Once a client goes live, the referral is locked to you for the life of the subscription.
No — it protects it. Every new sign-up starts with a 14-day free trial (5 signing envelopes included, billing starts when the trial ends). Register the deal before your client starts the trial and the referral is yours whether they convert on day 3 or day 14. Fees begin with their first paid invoice.
Your quarterly statement shows each referred org, its net subscription revenue and the commission due, and you invoice against it. Query any figure with admin@salessign.io before invoicing and we will reconcile it with you.
Apply, get your internal licence, and register the client you already have in mind. Approval typically takes a few working days.
